Volunteer of the Year Award Recipients

Andrew Corkery of Pitzer Snodgrass, P.C. and David Warnick of Johnson & Bell, Ltd. in Chicago were presented with the 2024 IDC Volunteer of the Year Awards.

IDC Executive Director Sandra Wulf remarked “Andrew and David have dedicated an incredible amount of time and energy to the association over the years, but particularly this last year. They have led the Civil Practice Committee, co-authored a Monograph, and spoke at our 2023 Civil Practice Seminar. In addition, David has just joined the IDC Quarterly Editorial Board. Andrew and David are truly valued members of our organization. IDC is better for having them involved and engaged. Our sincere thanks for their work.”

Andrew Corkery is of counsel at Pitzer Snodgrass P.C. in St. Louis. His practice concentrates on defense of transportation and medical malpractice cases. He is a cum laude graduate of St. Louis University School of Law. He is Chair of the IDC Civil Practice Committee and serves as a member of the IDC Amicus committee.

David Warnick is a shareholder at Johnson & Bell, Ltd. handling a wide spectrum of matters in litigation ranging from products liability to commercial transportation litigation and many things in between. Mr. Warnick is the vice chair of IDC’s Civil Practice Committee and an Associate Editor of the IDC Quarterly. Mr. Warnick typically represents primary/excess insurers, trucking companies, and a variety of different types of business owners and healthcare providers in all aspects of litigation in both state and federal courts throughout Illinois.
