Steve Grossi of Yvonne M. Kaminski & Associates in Chicago has been named the 2022 Volunteer of the Year by the Illinois Defense Counsel. Mr. Grossi was recognized for his many contributions to the IDC. “In an organization built on volunteers, it is an honor to be considered the IDC Volunteer of the Year. I am thankful for the many IDC members whose efforts inspire my own and foster a collaborative and supportive environment. I am consistently impressed by the high-quality work that is a hallmark of IDC writings for the legal community and advocacy regarding the important legal issues in Illinois. It is a true privilege to represent the defense bar, and I am grateful for both this recognition and the opportunity to work with such an esteemed group of defense attorneys.,” said Mr. Grossi. I am very happy to recognize Steve for all that he contributes.” Steve Grossi is an attorney with Yvonne M. Kaminski and Associates in Chicago. He is an experienced trial attorney with a litigation practice focused on the defense of automobile negligence, premises liability, and general negligence personal injury matters. Steve graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned his J.D. and his B.A with a double major in economics and psychology. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant and a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter. Steve serves on the IDC Board of Directors, chairs the IDC Tort Committee, and contributes to several other committees and projects.
