Jennifer L. Maloney of Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice LLC was honored by 2021-2022 President Laura Beasley with the IDC President’s Award.

In honoring Ms. Maloney, President Beasley remarked, “Jennifer Maloney and I have been practicing law together for years. When I left the prosecutor's office to join the civil defense world is when we first met, and we have had each other's backs ever since. I am able to always count on her hash out strategy of a case, collaborate on arguments, and late-night chats regarding issues with opposing counsel. I am lucky to have Jennifer as a partner as she is an amazing attorney, person, and my best friend.”

It has truly been an honor to support her endeavors to push the defense bar forward in progressive and relevant ways, and to always advocate for civility in a practice that sometimes forgets the virtue,” said Ms. Maloney.

Jennifer L. Maloney is an attorney with Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice LLC in St. Louis. She has spent her career advocating for businesses and insurance companies, primarily in the areas of premises liability, product liability, personal injury, and transportation. She is also experienced in toxic tort, pharmaceutical liability, construction, and nursing home litigation. In addition, Jennifer often is asked to serve as local counsel in complex commercial and class action litigation, as well as serve as an arbitrator in UI/UIM claims.
