Seth Lamden is a litigation partner at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg, LLP in Chicago. He concentrates his practice on representing corporate and individual policyholders in coverage disputes with their insurers. In addition to dispute resolution, Mr. Lamden counsels clients on matters relating to insurance and risk management, including maximizing insurance recovery for lawsuits and property damage, policy audits and procurement, and drafting contractual insurance specifications and indemnity agreements. He obtained his B.A. from Brandeis University, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from The John Marshall Law School.

Melanie A. Strubbe is a partner at LaBarge Campbell & Lyon, LLC. She received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 1992, and graduated, cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center in 1995. Ms. Strubbe is licensed to practice law in California, Nevada and Illinois. She devoted the first five years of her practice to construction defect litigation in Southern California, where she defended a wide variety of clients, including general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. Her cases focused on structural issues, geotechnical issues, concrete and mold, and she was a member of the American Concrete Institute. Since moving back to Illinois in 1999, Ms. Strubbe’s practice has focused on construction injury and defect litigation, as well as insurance coverage matters. Ms. Strubbe’s clients include both insureds and insurance companies. She has prosecuted and defended numerous declaratory judgment actions, as well as provided coverage opinions to various insurance companies. Ms. Strubbe has handled a wide variety of insurance coverage issues relating to tenders of defense and indemnity, professional services exclusions, intentional acts exclusions, exclusions for construction defect claims, advertising injuries, employee exclusions, non-owned automobile coverage, and athletic or sports participants exclusions. Ms. Strubbe has also handled numerous other civil matters, including personal injury and products liability cases. Ms. Strubbe is an active member of the Illinois Defense Counsel’s Insurance Coverage Committee, and was selected as an Illinois Leading Lawyer Rising Star for the years 2007 and 2008. | Related Links
