Bruce Dorn*

Bruce Farrel Dorn is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana Campus and the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Bruce began his career in insurance defense litigation with the firm of Goldenson, Kiesler, Berman and Brenner. After several years, he formed the defense firm of Brenner and Dorn, which later merged with other several others to form the firm of Brenner, Mavrias, Dorn & Alm. Bruce attained his present position of Managing Attorney for Bruce Farrel Dorn & Associates, the staff counsel firm for the State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company in 1990.

Bruce is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association, as well as the IDC. He is an adjunct Professor of Law at the John Marshall Law School. Bruce lives in Highland Park, Illinois with his wife Susan. Bruce will be receiving the distinguished alumni award from the John Marshall School of Law at the annual awards dinner in May, 2016.
