The Illinois Association of Defense Trial Council (IDC) has named Jacksonville Attorney Barbara Fritsche as its 2009 Distinguished Member. Fritsche was nominated by her peers for her outstanding contributions to the association.

Barbara Fritsche is a partner with the Jacksonville, Illinois based law firm of Rammelkamp Bradney, P.C. An active litigator, she concentrates her practice on insurance defense and employment law.

A member of the IDC board of directors, Barbara exemplifies dedication by ensuring the association remains both vital and diverse, bringing in members from across the entire state. Recognizing the majority of IDC members are based in the Cook County area, Barbara has become a leader in the efforts to expand our membership base in central and southern Illinois.
She pushed for and helped design new membership recruitment material. An active participant in the Membership Task Force, she recently organized a social event in the state capitol of Springfield. The well attended event not only served to attract and recruit new members, but also to raise the profile of the IDC and highlighted the association’s advocacy on behalf of the interest of our members and clients.

The outstanding success of the event was noted in nominations for Barbara as a 2009 Distinguished Member. As one member said, "This event can and should become an annual one and, if it does, will grow in popularity serving the interest of the IDC for years to come. Barb deserves special recognition for her service.”
